It was said that the committee and its territorial branches conduct work on ensuring execution of legislation on advertisement.

In particular, the State Demonopolization Committee carried out 1,000 studies and researches and revealed 500 cases of violations. Among main violations were advertisement of banned products, placement of inauthentic advertisement, failure to meet rules of outdoor advertisement, hidden advertisement, etc.

The committee issued 314 orders to legal entities on elimination of violations and some 239 responsible people were attracted to administrative responsibility.

It was said that the State Demonopolization Committee carries out various seminars, conferences and workshops to raise awareness of businesses, engaged in advertisement in the market.

At the roundtable, participants discussed improvement of legislation on advertisement and adopted recommendations to ensure adherence of businesses to advertisement legislation, etc.
