The festival was organized by Council of Unions of the Friendship and Cultural-Educational relations of Uzbekistan with foreign states in cooperation with the embassies, accredited in Tashkent, as well as national cultural centers.
The festival was attended by employees of diplomatic missions and international organizations, friendship societies and foreign guests.
The visitors of the festival had chance to familiarize with national cuisine of various states, their history, how to cook, and taste them.
The visitors got acquainted with traditional cuisine of India, Iran, China, Latvia, Azerbaijan and other states.
Embassy of Oman won the grand-prix. Embassy of South Korea was the first, Embassy of Egypt – second and Embassy of India – third. The best cooks received prizes and diplomas.
