Tashkent hosts meeting on improving intl transportation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting of the delegation of International Road Union with representatives of ministries and departments of Uzbekistan, working in international motor transportations.
Narodnoye Slovo reported the sides discussed issues of implementing of memorandum on developing freight motor transportation between Asia and Europe and main world markets through Uzbekistan, which was signed in 2008.
During the meeting, the sides considered various spheres of cooperation in deepening of integration of local transport highways with international motor transportation networks.
Kahramon Sidiknazarov, President of Uzbekistan International Motor Transportation Association, said Uzbekistan possesses huge transit potential.
