Tashkent hosts First meeting of the Council of National Coordinators for the Consultative Meetings of Central Asian Heads of States

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30-31 January 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan hosted the first meeting of the Council of National Coordinators for the Consultative Meetings of Central Asian Heads of State. The event brought together representatives from the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.

The meeting was opened by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bahram A’loev, who welcomed the participants and emphasized the significance of Uzbekistan’s successful chairmanship in 2025. During the session, Uzbekistan presented its chairmanship concept for the Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State and discussed the draft schedule of joint events planned for the year.

Participants noted that holding the first meeting of the Council of National Coordinators in Tashkent was a timely and productive step in preparing for upcoming high-level events. These initiatives are expected to serve as a foundation for strengthening political, economic, and social cooperation among Central Asian nations.

At the conclusion of the discussions, all sides reaffirmed their commitment to close coordination and joint efforts to ensure the successful organization of the Seventh Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State, set to take place in Tashkent in 2025.

Uzbekistan’s upcoming chairmanship is anticipated to be a crucial phase in deepening regional ties and unlocking new opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration.
