MPs of Legislative Chamber, representatives of Tashkent administration, professional colleges, academic lyceums, district employment centers of Tashkent city, public education departments and others participated at the event.

It was noted that Uzbekistan pays special attention to development of education system of Uzbekistan. The material-technical base of educational establishments and skills of teachers are improving.

It was underlined that Uzbekistan repaired 150 schools and created over 46,300 student seats, and equipped with modern laboratory tools in 2011. Some 9,600 schools for connected to electronic-information network Ziyonet. About 390,000 graduates of colleges and academic lyceums were provided with jobs.

MPs underlined that the local administrations should pay attention to employment of college and academic lyceums graduates. It was said that 516,000 people will graduate in 2012, which is twice more compared to 2011. Number of graduates in Tashkent makes up over 48,000 people. Responsible officials should adopt concrete measures to provide internship and jobs to graduates.

It was noted that the officials should expand explanation work among parents and self-governance bodies, as well as strengthen work of administrations and educational establishments in employment of college and academic lyceum graduates.
