The event was organized by the Center for research of privatization problems, corporate governance development and securities under the State Property Committee in cooperation with the State Property Committee and UzStandard Agency.

The conference was organized in order to discuss achieved results, reveal problems and solutions, as well as determine main directions for further development of corporate governance and introduction of quality management system.

International experience shows that introduction of quality management system in line with international standards is one of the important factors for effective production and competitiveness of products.

Uzbekistan carried out significant work in this direction. The country formed legal base for corporate management and there are some consulting companies in the market.

Participants discussed actual issues on formation and development of corporate governance development, increasing stock markets in developing corporate governance, current state and further development of quality management system at the enterprises, etc.

During the event, participants received information of planned measures and plans for introduction of quality management system in line ISO. They also received information on developing and introducing quality management systems at their enterprises and preparing for certification.
