The seminar is aimed at providing platform for participants to exchange opinion on current state of legislative base, methods and tools for ensuring information security, existing problems and solving them.

The event is organized by the UzACI, UNICON.UZ Center, Scienific-technical society of radio equipment, electronics and communications of Uzbekistan.

Representatives of National Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan, Cabinet of Ministers, Ministry of Interior Affairs, National Security Service, mobile communication operators, IT enterprises, ministries and departments participated at the event.

During the seminar, it was said that Uzbekistan pays special attention for ensuring information security in the state level. Uzbekistan adopted corresponding laws and by-laws, which regulate various aspects of ICT sector. Various seminars and conferences are organized to discuss further developing communication and information sector.

Issuing of ensuring information security is complex, and their solution requires to unite efforts of state bodies, law enforcement bodies, scientific institutions, and telecommunication operator. Besides, such events help to exchange experience on preventing and analyzing incidents, which help to disseminate beset experiences on preventing threats.

During the event, the participants discussed protection of software, development and introduction of effective information security, training specialists on information security, etc.
