Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20-21 September, Tashkent will host the 20th Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association (APTLD) Summit.
Representatives of more than 40 APTLD member states, as well as guests from Europe, North and South America, will gather to discuss the development trends of the Internet.
Uzbekistan, represented by the Single Integrator for Creation and Support of State Information Systems, as the coordinator of the registration of domain names in the “uz” zone, became a member of the APTLD in September 2017.
According to the Single Integrator for Creation and Support of State Information Systems, this year famous ICT experts will participate in the work of the summit.
One of the most anticipated participants of the event is Paul Vixie. He is an American computer scientist whose technical contributions include Domain Name System (DNS) protocol design and procedure, mechanisms to achieve operational robustness of DNS implementations, and significant contributions to open source software principles and methodology. In addition, he is one of the most authoritative experts in the world in cybersecurity.
