Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 June, the International Hotel Tashkent hosted a presentation of the Hospitality Association, which outlined the concept of uniting entrepreneurs in this area and the direction of development of the hospitality industry.
The Association will provide support to entrepreneurs in the following areas:
1. Promoting the interests of representatives of the hospitality industry in the Republic;
2. Consulting hotel and restaurant owners in developing the concept, standards and branding of their facilities, budgeting;
3. Assistance in improving the skills of the hospitality industry staff to build an effective team and inculcate professional skills.
4. Participation in discussions of projects on legislative and regulatory legal acts, benefits and preferences in the hospitality industry in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other assistance for the development of the hospitality industry.
The event was attended by more than a hundred representatives of enterprises engaged in the tourism industry.
A team of experts, members of the Hospitality Association, was presented as speakers. These are the leading representatives of the tourism and hospitality sector, with experience of 20 years or more.
Invited guests also participated in the event: ASSOCIATION OF PRIVATE TOURIST ORGANIZATIONS OF UZBEKISTAN, O`ZBEKISTON EKOLOGIK QURILISHI KENGASHI, Representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as the management of the International Hotel Tashkent.
During the presentation, the General Manager of International Hotel Tashkent - Malikov Sardor Yolkinovich - announced to the audience the signing of an agreement with the international hotel group Accor for the transfer of the International Hotel Tashkent under the Swiss brand Mövenpick. The attraction of the brand will give impetus to the beginning of a new chapter for the well-known hotel complex in Tashkent. The rebranding procedure is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023.
The meeting was interesting and fruitful: the participants who attended the presentation expressed their desire to continue cooperation with the Hospitality Association.
