Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Plans are underway to install special cameras in all 10th and 11th grade classrooms of general education schools in Tashkent to monitor student attendance.

Attendance data will be recorded through the Smart School electronic system.

The order was signed by the city’s hokim.

Previously, the Smart School system was tested in 250 classrooms across 31 schools in the Almazar district of Tashkent.
