Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent consumers will be left without hot water for six days this spring due to two planned outages, the press service of Veolia Energy Tashkent said.

The company noted that it will carry out maintenance and repair work, including replacement of valves, complete inspection and replacement of network pumps, inspection of electrical supply systems, dismantling and installation of pipes and related equipment of boiler rooms, as well as preventive work on heat exchangers.

The first shutdown is scheduled for the period from 1 April to 31 May and will last two days.

In addition, it is planned to shut down the central boiler houses of all three heat generating enterprises (Tashkent Issiklik Markazi, Tashkent Thermal Power Plant, Veolia Energy Tashkent). There will be no hot water for four days between 15 April and 31 May.
