During the meeting, representatives of the Tashkent Department of Tourism Development made presentations on the themes “Advertising methods: the history of the Silk Road, historical buildings and cultural heritage”, “The methods of cooperation between the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand, and their contribution to the development of the economy as a center of tourism in Uzbekistan "," Tourism projects and events held in the country, showing the historical cultural heritage of the Silk Road: State financial support, infrastructure, promotion at the international level". Also, the parties exchanged materials on the tourism potential of the two countries.
As a result of the event, with the assistance of the State Tourism Development Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Department of Tourism Development of the city of Tashkent and the Department of Tourism of the city of Nagoya.
It should be noted that this is the first official visit of the leadership of the Nagoya Tourism Department to Uzbekistan, which is the first step towards the development of bilateral relations in the tourism sector of the two countries.
