Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 23 August, Acting Khokim of Tashkent Shavkat Umurzakov met with representatives of the Eurasian Resources Group - Head of the Strategy and Investment Department Onur Kizilot and Chief Coordinator Uzi Sezer.

Having greeted the guests, Umurzakov spoke in detail about the activities, short-term and long-term plans of the khokimiyat of the capital, as well as promising large projects planned for implementation. In addition, he informed the guests about the favorable investment climate created under the auspices of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. 

In particular, investors in the country are provided with free currency conversion, removal of restrictions on the repatriation of profits, obtaining international credit ratings and issuing bonds by companies, a visa-free regime with 90 countries, a simplified visa regime with 60 states, etc.

In turn, Onur Kizilot spoke about the Eurasian Resources Group, a company with 60 years of experience, which was originally established in Turkey, but for five years now the company’s headquarters has been located and operates in London. The company specializes in infrastructure construction, energy, road construction and, in general, has a wide range of activities. O. Kizilot expressed confidence that the long-term plans announced by Shavkat Umurzakov are achievable and have all the prerequisites for successful implementation.

At the end of the meeting, which was held in a friendly manner, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue in the future.
