Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 July, at the khokimiyat of Tashkent city, in an online conference, the first deputy head of the Department of Digital Development Sherzod Nortozhiev held a meeting with Rein Anderson, co-founder and managing director of the consulting company Women in Digital Transformation (WinDt Consulting).
The sides discussed the development of the digital ecosystem of Tashkent in terms of infrastructure, population coverage, security of digital public services to the population and the digital economy. Representatives of the Digital Development Department provided detailed information on the development of the “Electronic City” project, which includes a geoportal, a geoanalytical system, a situational center, a module for architects, an address register module, municipal assets, the "Khalk Nazorati" system, "Salom Tashkent" with a single personal account, etc.
USAID representatives were interested in scaling, the participation of commercial organizations in the project, the use of adjacent data centers, the participation of world experts in the project, the solution of the problem with personnel, the use of world experience, etc. Comprehensive answers were given to all questions.
The parties agreed on further cooperation and exchange of information on all issues of interest.
