Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Tashkent city administration has issued an appeal to residents, asking them to help homeless animals as cold weather sets in.
In the statement, it is noted that temperatures in the capital have started to drop and colder conditions are expected soon.
Residents are encouraged to pay attention to stray cats and dogs that may be found in courtyards. The city administration asks those who can to provide shelter for the animals or at least feed them, emphasizing that this can save lives.
Additionally, drivers are urged to check their cars before starting the engine, as animals may seek shelter under vehicles or near the wheels. The appeal asks, "Don’t rush, take a moment to check your car."
