Tashkent Cinema Festival presented in Moscow
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Fund Forum held a presentation of Tashkent International Festival of Contemporary Cinema, which will be held in Tashkent on 19-25 October, within the 33rd Moscow International Cinema Festival at business platform Moscow Business Square at Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya on 27-29 June 2011.

The organizer of Moscow Business Square is Federal Fund for Social-Economic Support of National Cinematography.

In line with the practice, large international cinema festivals are accompanied with large business cinema forums. For example, Cannes Cinema Festical has Producers Network, while Berlinale - Berlinale Co-production Market. For the second year, works of cinema industry has been organizing similar event within the Moscow International Festival and it gathers lager number of participants.

Moscow Business Square is business platform, main aim of which is to development international cooperation in cinematography through providing opportunity to hold business meeting, roundtables, presentations and other events to producers, distributors and large players of cinema industry.

Presentation stand of Tashkent International Festival of Contemporary Cinema was visited by such companies as Barefoot Films, Bavaria Film, Beta Cinema, Egoli Tossell, Razor Film Produktion (Germany), Galatée Films, Kinovista, Memento Films International, Rezo Films, TF1 (France), K5 International (Great Britain), Alta Films, Latido Films (Spain), Cinecittà Luce, Fandango (Italy), Cinemavault (Canada), Fortissimo Films (the Netherlands), Lakeshore Entertainment Group (USA), such funds as Eurimages, Media, Mitteldeutsche Medienforderrung, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, Israel Film Fund, Film I Vast, Catalan Films & TV and others

At the same time, the Uzbek stand attracted interests of Tandem Production, Producers Network, Connecting Cottbus, Sofia meetings, Hong Kong Asia Film Financing Forum, EAVE, Asian Project Market, NFDC (National Film Development Corporation, India), RioMarket, Baltic Event and Screen International.
