Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 6 February, acting khokim of Tashkent Shavkat Umurzakov met with the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev.

Umurzakov welcomed the guest, emphasized the friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus, and spoke about the favorable investment climate in Tashkent.

In particular, he spoke about large projects planned for implementation in Tashkent until 2030, and proposed to establish cooperation in various areas, in particular in the field of furniture production, pharmaceuticals, medicine, education, culture, etc.

Vladimir Kukharev expressed gratitude for the reception, noted the development of Tashkent and expressed confidence in the potential for mutually beneficial cooperation. He emphasized the importance of working with young people through cultural dialogue, educational exchange, and tourism programs.

The parties signed an Action Plan for 2024-2025 to implement the agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation.
