Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 19-20 September, joint business forums between Uzbekistan and Iran will be held in Tashkent and the Khorezm region.

The events are organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Tehran, the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the local governments of Khorezm region and Tashkent city, as well as the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, and the Iranian Embassy in Uzbekistan.

A delegation from Iran, led by the president of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, Samad Hassanzadeh, comprising leaders from over 60 major companies, will visit Uzbekistan to participate in the forums.

In addition to participating in the business forums, the Iranian delegation plans to hold meetings with relevant ministries and agencies in Uzbekistan and visit free economic zones.

The forums will focus on prospective projects in industries such as innovation, agriculture, water management, food production, fisheries, construction materials, pharmaceuticals, textiles, logistics, and mechanical engineering.

The events will also feature B2B meetings between representatives of the Iranian business community and entrepreneurs from Khorezm region and Tashkent.
