Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 12 September 2024, the Council of People’s Deputies of Tashkent approved a decision to raise tariffs for hot water supply and heating by 15%. The document did not specify the exact date when the new tariffs will take effect.

For residents of the capital, the cost of hot water supply and heating will increase from 105,000 soums per gigacalorie (Gcal) to 121,600 soums. For legal entities, the tariff will rise from 212,600 soums to 244,400 soums.

The last increase in tariffs for the population occurred in April 2024, while businesses saw their rates raised last year.

It was previously reported that tariffs for hot water supply and heating would rise at the beginning of the new heating season.
