Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution "On programme of localization of production of ready products, spare parts and materials based on industrial cooperation for 2010", which was signed on 23 March.

The document said TAPOiCh will build four aircrafts of Il-114 and Il-76 modification in 2010. At the same time, the aircraft will ensure localization level at 21%.

TAPOiCh already completed construction of freight aircraft Il-76TD-90VD for Russian airline Volga-Dnepr. The aircraft is on trials now.

Recently, the plant ferried Il-114-100 aircraft to trial station. After trials, the aircraft will be handed over to Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways).

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari plans to purchase four Il-114-100 aircrafts and to increase their number to eight. Currently, the airline uses Il-114-100 aircraft in internal flights and mid haul flights.
