Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 26 December 2019 Senate Chairperson of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva took part in the award ceremony “Milliy sport mukofoti-2019”, organized by the National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports.

As the Senate Chairperson noted in her speech, so far 32 licenses have been won for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, 17 for the Olympic Games, 15 for the Paralympic Games. The desire was expressed that in 2020 the number of licenses for the Tokyo Olympics and the number of victories that will please the President of the country and our people will increase.

The work carried out by the National Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports in preparation for the Olympics in Tokyo was highlighted, as well as measures taken to promote a healthy lifestyle among the population. It was said that such attention of the state is the best motivation in anticipation of the Olympic 2020.

The Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzili Narbaeva received an award of the National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports for her contribution to the development of sports among women.
