Tantana band to participate at Turkish children festival

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Laureates of Children Art Festival “Yangi Avlod” vocal-art group “Tantana” will participate at the 35th International children festival, which will be held in Izmir, Turkey, on 14-23 April 2013.

The slogan of the festival is “Peace in the world, peace in the world”. The festival is aimed at establishing friendly relations between children among various countries.

Vocal-art group “Tantana” was established in Tashkent in 2000. The group had 15 people, now it has 100 members. The group performs national classic Uzbek music such as mumtoz, maqom, yalla, lapars, etc.

Turkey marks Day of Children on 23 April. The day is public holiday. The holiday is aimed at establishing friendly relations between countries.
