Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The TalentforBIZ career event will take place in Tashkent on 19 October 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Tashkent.
Launched in 2019 under the Human Resources Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, TalentforBIZ aims to connect employers with promising young talent in key international hubs, promoting career growth.
This popular event, especially among young people, seeks to build a bridge between Uzbek youth and international Turkish companies, offering university students and graduates a wide range of career opportunities in both countries. These opportunities include employment, internships, and educational programs.
Top Turkish companies, such as Aselsan, Halkbank, and Turkish Airlines, will participate in the event, along with Turkish business leaders operating in Uzbekistan, including Çalık Enerji, Koç İnşaat, and Kontrolmatik. The event will feature informational sessions, interviews, and discussions focused on career development.
Aselsan and Türksat, with support from the Human Resources Office of the Turkish Presidency and Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, will conduct interviews with young Uzbek engineers for positions at the Olmazor Startup incubator in Tashkent during TalentforBIZ.
In addition, Turkish Aerospace will be accepting applications from engineers interested in working in structural design, analysis, aerodynamics, avionics, and software development for the Olmazor Startup incubator under its Engineer Enhancement Program (EEP). After initial interviews, successful candidates will undergo four months of training.
This collaboration between the two brotherly nations continues to expand in the career field, providing young professionals with new opportunities and giving employers access to highly skilled talent needed for their operations in Uzbekistan.
Following Uzbekistan, TalentforBIZ will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan to strengthen human resource cooperation with Turkic states.
Registration for the event is available through the Turkish digital career platform Qobiliyat Eshigi, which will soon offer career services to students and graduates from all Uzbek universities.
Through this platform, participants can apply for interviews and other activities at TalentforBIZ in Tashkent. Attendees are encouraged to fill out their profiles in Uzbek, Turkish, and English through Qobiliyat Eshigi, ensuring their skills and competencies are accurately represented to potential employers.
