Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In today’s world, where international cooperation plays a pivotal role in development, Uzbekistan and Türkiye showcase a strong partnership that contributes to the prosperity of both nations.

One of the key areas of this cooperation is education and career development, exemplified by the TalentforBIZ project, which is currently taking place in Tashkent.

TalentforBIZ, an initiative of the Turkish Presidency’s Directorate of Human Resources, has been in operation since 2019. The event brings together employers and talented youth in major international hubs, promoting career growth and building a bridge between young professionals and the global workforce.

As noted by the Turkish Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Olgan Bekar, cooperation between the two brotherly countries is also progressing in the career sector. This event will serve as a platform for Uzbek youth to engage with leading Turkish companies such as Aselsan, Halkbank, and Turkish Airlines, as well as with businesses already operating in Uzbekistan, including Çalık Enerji, Koç İnşaat, and Kontrolmatik.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend informational sessions, participate in interviews, and join discussions related to career development.

One particularly notable aspect of this collaboration is the partnership between Aselsan, Türksat, Turkish Aerospace, and the Olmazor Startup Incubator in Tashkent. Young Uzbek engineers will be able to apply for jobs and participate in training programs, such as the Engineer Enhancement Program (EEP) and other initiatives offered by Turkish companies. This provides a unique opportunity for Uzbek specialists to gain valuable experience working with global leaders in technology.

“I am very excited to take part in TalentforBIZ. I would like to get to know Turkish companies and learn about career opportunities in the IT sector. I hope to gain valuable knowledge and skills from this event, as well as network with company representatives to understand their candidate requirements,” said Alisher Tukhtaev, a third-year student at the Tashkent State University of Economics, in an interview.

TalentforBIZ not only creates a bridge between young talent and employers but also strengthens ties between Uzbekistan and Türkiye in education and career development. Following Tashkent, TalentforBIZ will take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, spreading the spirit of cooperation and opening new opportunities for young professionals in the Turkic world.

Registration for the event is conducted through the digital career platform Qobiliyat Eshigi, which will soon be available to students and graduates from all universities in Uzbekistan. Participants are encouraged to complete their profiles in Uzbek, Turkish, and English to better showcase their skills to potential employers.
