After the discussions, the CIS leaders signed a package of documents on interaction and agreement on perpetuation of memory of people, who participated at the Second World War.

During the meeting in face-to-face and expended structure, the leaders of the CIS considered draft report “Results of the CIS activity in 20 years and tasks for perspective”, discussed issues of further developing CIS, international issues, etc.

After the summit, the CIS leaders signed a package of documents directed on cooperation within the CIS, including on improving anti-aircraft defense, migration policy, and others

The summit adopted decision that Turkmenistan will chair in the organization in 2012 and the CIS leaders will gather in Ashgabat.
