Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Dushanbe, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported that given the current situation due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the validity period of visas and registration of citizens of foreign states and stateless persons, which are temporarily located in the Republic of Tajikistan, will be extended until the epidemiological situation stabilizes.

Citizens of Uzbekistan located in Tajikistan can apply for a visa extension to the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan in Sughd region, and for renewal of registration to the Passport Registration Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
