The meeting discussed issues of improving friendly and good neighbourly relations between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Special attention was paid to resolving the issue of using Tajikistan’s water and energy resources, demarcating the state border line between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, developing regional trade and economic cooperation and others.

Both sides stressed that all topical issues between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan should be settled, first of all, within the framework of bilateral relations.
