About 500 juniors aged 15 to 17 from all over Uzbekistan are expected to attend this event.

Taekwondo is a martial art, which trains the body and mind. The goal of this sport is not only the general strengthening of the body, but also spiritual self-improvement.

At present, Uzbekistan pays special attention to the development of youth sports and education, as a result of which the popularity of taekwondo in the country is also growing.

The embassy hopes that this championship will allow all the juniors participating in it to improve their skills, and citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan will increase interest in the Republic of Korea and Korean sports, and will strengthen the friendly ties between the two countries.
