Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan WT taekwondo team completed the Asian Championship in Vietnam with seven medals.

On the last day of the tournament, the Uzbekistan team replenished the delegation’s collection with one gold and two bronze medals.

Jasurbek Jaisunov, who competed in the weight category up to 80 kg, overcame all opponents and became the Asian champion for the second time in a row.

Svetlana Osipova (+73 kg) and Diyorbek Tukhliboev (-68 kg) won bronze medals.

Jahongir Khudoiberdiev, who competed in the weight category up to 54 kg, became the bronze medalist of the tournament.

Feruza Sodikova (up to 62 kg) climbed to the podium of the continental championship for the third time in a row. The two-time World Championships medalist missed out on victory in the final and won the silver medal.

Najmiddin Kosimkhodjiev (up to 74 kg) and Gulsanam Alijonova (up to 73 kg) reached the semi-finals and added two more bronze medals to the delegation’s treasury.
