Tae-Chang NET Co., Ltd. expressed interest in modernizing five hydroelectric power plants in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – South Korean company Tae-Chang NET Co., Ltd. expressed interest in the modernization of five hydroelectric power plants in the Tashkent and Samarkand regions of Uzbekistan with a total capacity of about 30 MW. This was reported by Dunyo news agency.

A meeting with the head of the company, Ji In Ho, at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in South Korea discussed plans for the company’s participation in this project.

Tae-Chang NET Co., Ltd., a company specializing in the production of electric generators, wind and hydroelectric power plant units, as well as various motors and hydraulic systems, submitted a Memorandum of Understanding and began developing a feasibility study for the modernization of hydroelectric power plants.

The parties also plan to organize training courses to improve the skills of Uzbek power engineers and engineers.

The South Korean delegation plans to visit Uzbekistan in February for further negotiations at Uzbekhydroenergo JSC.
