Micheline Calmy-Rey said Switzerland undertook obligation to solve water conflict among Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and discuss the issue within the UN.

Uzbekistan publicly criticized constriction of hydro power station in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on trans-boundary rivers of Central Asia. Uzbekistan says the stations are threat for the region’s security and construction of the stations should undertake independent international expertise of the objects.
