Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Swiss specialists shared their experience in cooperation between employers and educational institutions in tourism sector.

A seminar "Support to reforms in professional education in Uzbekistan" was organized in Tashkent.

The seminar, organized in the framework of the Vet4uz project, was attended by Scott Ryan, manager for professional training and development of the Swiss hospitality school (EHL - Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne), relevant ministries and institutes, pilot professional educational institutions, which train hospitality industry personnel, as well as representatives of the private sector.

Notably, the seminar included an exchange of views on "Coordination and communication, funding mechanisms and competence-based learning in vocational education management systems".

Scott Ryan also spoke about the role of the Swiss professional dual education system and the professional association "Hotellerie Suisse" in coordinating and further improving the quality of education during the event.

In addition, Ryan shared his experience in organising cooperation between employers and educational institutions in the hospitality industry.
