Sweden claims narrow victory over Switzerland

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sweden clinched a 1-0 victory over Switzerland in the last 16 match and advanced to the quarter finals of the 2018 World Cup.

The first half of the match ended with the goalless draw. Emil Forsberg scored an only goal of the match via the out-stretched leg of Swiss defender Manuel Akanji on 66 minutes.

The Swiss were reduced to 10 men when Michael Lang took down Martin Olsson just outside the box.

Sweden now await the winner of Colombia or England.
