Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Trade Representative of Russia in Uzbekistan Igor Kamynin held a working meeting with a delegation from Sverdlovsk region headed by Deputy Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the region Lyudmila Berg and Deputy Minister of Industry and Science of the region Igor Zelenkin.

Vera Khmyrova, Director of the Department of Light Industry and Timber Industry of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, also took part in the meeting.

Representatives of Sverdlovsk region arrived in the republic to establish contacts with potential partners in the field of light industry in the cities of Fergana, Namangan and Tashkent. In total, 6 Sverdlovsk companies participate in the business mission.

During the visit, they visited a number of manufacturing enterprises of the country, and also held negotiations on the supply of textile products to the region and the implementation of joint projects for the tailoring of finished products.
