Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to ensure the stability of the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020 and optimize its costs” extended the suspension of certain payments to employees of budgetary organizations.

In accordance with the document, the suspension of payments to employees of budgetary organizations at the expense of the Special Fund for Material Incentives, the Fund for Material Incentives for Higher Educational Institutions and the Director's Fund (according to the PCM dated 04.16.2020 No. 232) is extended from 1 October 2020 to 1 January 2021. An exception will be made by workers of medical, medical and social organizations, orphanages, as well as workers who are subject to 1-3 grades of wages.

The resolution approved the optimized expenditures of the republican and local budgets, provided for by the State Budget of Uzbekistan, as well as the State Budget of Karakalpakstan, the budgets of the regions and Tashkent city.

Also, the limits for construction, reconstruction and overhaul of facilities provided for in the budgets of the budgetary system within the framework of the Program for the Development of Social and Industrial Infrastructure have been optimized.

The following expenses in the amount of 224.28 billion soums, planned for implementation at the expense of the Anti-Crisis Fund, will also be optimized:

additional funds for the implementation of social and infrastructure projects in 2020;

funds allocated to regional budgets for the introduction of new lands;

funds transferred to the Fund for Support of Farms, Dekhkan Farms and Private Private Farms.

At the same time, part of the expenses, formed due to the failure to fulfill the forecast of the approved budget revenues of Karakalpakstan, local budgets of regions and the city of Tashkent, is transferred to the republican budget. The rest of the funds, optimized in accordance with this resolution, are transferred to the Anti-Crisis Fund and will be used to fight the coronavirus.
