Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister - Chairman of the State Investment Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sukhrob Holmuradov will take part in the next Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund from 12 to 14 October in Indonesia.

Annual meetings of the World Bank and the IMF are organized to discuss a wide range of issues related to the growth of the well-being of the world population, further international economic development and cooperation in the field of financial activities.

During the meetings, a number of forums will be organized to facilitate interaction between national governments and experts from international financial organizations, the media and the private sector.

The delegation of Uzbekistan plans to discuss with the leadership of the World Bank, the IMF and other international financial institutions prospects for further expansion of cooperation, as well as to hold a number of bilateral meetings with the heads of the delegations of the World Bank member countries and the IMF.
