Suicide bomber blasts mosque in Pakistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Pakistan, the death toll in a mosque explosion has risen to 32, with 147 injured, BOL Network reported on 30 January. Some of the injured are in critical condition.

According to eyewitnesses, there were about 300 people in the mosque, most of those gathered were representatives of the police, army and sappers. The explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber. As a result of the explosion, part of the mosque collapsed, a number of eyewitnesses report the collapse of the roof of the building.

According to the preliminary version, the attack could be carried out by the most radical part of the Taliban group, which the Pakistani authorities had previously outlawed and banned. However, at the moment there is no official confirmation of the responsibility of the Taliban for the terrorist attack in Peshawar.

“Part of the building was destroyed. According to official data, there are people under the rubble,” the broadcasting corporation said in a statement. Other details of the incident are being specified.

At the end of November 2022, near the Jewish settlement of Kochav Yaakov, located on the West Bank of the Jordan River, there was a terrorist attack using a car - a man hit a 20-year-old girl. The girl was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
