Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By Presidential Decree, changes were made to the Decree “On supporting proposals for the establishment of the State Prize named after Zulfiya.”

According to the Decree, the State Prize named after Zulfiya is now awarded to gifted girls who have achieved particular success in the field of information technology.

It was also noted that the Commission for the State Prize named after Zulfiya operates under the Committee on Family and Women on a voluntary basis and is led by the Deputy Prime Minister - Chairman of the Committee on Family and Women.

In addition, to receive the award, documents are submitted on the applicant’s exemplary activities, her special achievements in the fields of education, science, literature, culture, art, sports, information technology and social activities over the past three years (previously this period was 2 years).
