Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 June 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted Resolution “On Approval of the Interim Regulation on the Procedure for Providing Subsidies to Entities of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Growing Cotton, Grain Crops, and Rice for Land Leveling Expenses Using Land-Improvement Aggregates with a Laser Device in 2024-2025.”

According to the Interim Regulation, subsidies will be allocated to cover expenses for fuel and lubricants used per hectare of arable land leveled with a laser leveling device, at a rate of 100%, but not exceeding 1 million soums.

Applications for subsidies are submitted through the information system "Agrosubsidiya." A working group examines the compliance of the lands with the requirements on-site within 3 days and prepares a conclusion.

Based on the working group’s conclusion, the Ministry of Agriculture makes the decision to pay the subsidies.

In the first stage in 2024, subsidies will be allocated for projects in the Amudarya, Turtkul, and Beruni districts. In 2025, subsidies will be allocated for projects in all districts of Karakalpakstan.
