According to financial report of TeliaSonera, number of subscribers grew from 7.688 million in 2011 to 9.475 millionn in 2012. At the same time, number of subscribers decreased by 74,000 subscribers in the fourth quarter of 2012.

In order to handle an increasing number of active subscriptions and a significant increase in traffic volumes, Ucell churned out 0.6 million inactive subscriptions during the fourth quarter, TeliaSonera said.

Net sales of Ucell grew by 36.3% year-on-year in 2012 and made up 2.369 billion Sweden kronor (about US$373.621 million).

In the fourth quarter of 2012, net revenue of the company made up 746 million Sweden kronor (about US$118.106 million), or rose by 59.36% year-on-year.

According to the company, MOU (average monthly minutes of usage per subscriber) made up 266 minutes per month in 2012 against 256 minutes per month in 2011. In the fourth quarter, the figure made up 279 minutes against 267 minutes in the same period of 2011.

EBITDA (Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) reached 904 million Sweden kronor (US$142.44 million) in 2012 against 688 million Sweden kronor (US$108.39 million) in 2011. EBITDA margin made up 38.2% in 2012.

In the fourth quarter of 2012, EBITDA was 322 million Sweden kronor (US$50.726 million) compared to 272 million Sweden kronor (US$42.85 million) in the same period of 2011. EBITDA margin made up 43% in last quarter of 2012.
