Subscribers base of MTS Uzbekistan grows by 2.8% in July

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Number of MTS Uzbekistan, largest mobile communication operator of Uzbekistan, reached 7.81 million as of 31 July 2010.

Mobile TeleSystems OJSC, largest mobile communication operator in Russia and the CIS states, said the subscribers base grew by 2.8% or 220,000 users compared to June 2010.

Number of subscribers of the company rose by 19.1% or 1.25 million users compared to the same period of 2009, the operator said.

Consolidated subscribers’ number of Mobile TeleSystems made up 99.21 million at the end of July 2010.
