Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 August, a Japanese delegation consisting of research students and a professor at Nagoya University Miyazaki Tycho arrived in Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the visit of foreign guests is to study the tourism potential of our country, to get acquainted with the large-scale reforms in the tourism sector carried out by the Government and to conduct research in specific areas of the tourist infrastructure of Uzbekistan.

During their visit, on 27 August, guests visited the National PR Center under the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, where he made a presentation on the rich tourism potential of the republic, which includes the history and culture of the Uzbek people, modern routes, attractions and gastronomy of the country.

Following the meeting, guests were presented with souvenirs and handouts with information about the tourism potential of the republic (magazines, brochures, maps, etc.)

Then, on 31 August, in order to conduct joint research with Uzbek students, foreign guests will travel to Samarkand, where they will visit the Silk Road International Tourism University.

As a result of the visit, the research group plans to develop several posters on the tourism potential of our country for their distribution in Japan, as well as Japanese students will prepare the final works, which will be published in the collection of Nagoya University based on the results of the internship.
