Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minsk hosted the III International Championship "BELAZ CHALLENGE - 2023", in which students from Uzbekistan showed the highest results.

This year, 8 teams from the best technical universities in Russia, Belarus and Uzbekistan took part in the BELAZ CHALLENGE. Students presented proposals for the introduction of alternative energy sources for mining trucks, and analyzed the operation of equipment based on data from the IMS intelligent monitoring system.

"BELAZ-CHALLENGE" is an international practice-oriented educational project that provides a unique opportunity for students of the best technical universities to demonstrate a new look at solving problems in the mining industry using real cases as an example. The championship has been held since 2017 and every year it becomes larger, gathering more and more talented youth under its wing.

In a stubborn struggle for the main prizes in a number of areas, according to the jury, students of the MISiS branch in the city of Almalyk were awarded.

Thus, the 4th year students of the “Mining machines and equipment” direction Sadigov Azai, Azamatov Akbarjon and Zaylobiddinov Muhammad Ali, despite the tight deadlines and the first debut of the Almalyk branch of NUST MISIS at the International Championship, managed to win the championship in the following nominations of the championship: creative video business card” and “The most original solution of the BelAZ machine-building case”.

Marketing Director of the BELAZ International Trade House Natalya Mikhailovna Kholodulina visited the Branch and congratulated the students on their success at this international championship, presented diplomas in nominations and memorable gifts.

The students told her about their projects, showed her their unique skills and creative approach to solving problems. N.M. Kholodulina, in turn, expressed her admiration for the work of the students and noted the high level of their training.
