The facility will be built at the Mubarek gas processing site in southern Uzbekistan, according to media reports from 29 November 2007.

The plant will have a processing capacity of some 12 billion cu m of natural gas a year. Its annual output is expected to stand at 270,000 tonnes of liquefied gas and 70,000 tonnes of gas condensate. The production will be sold on the Uzbek market and abroad.

The project will increase gas processing in Uzbekistan significantly and allow the production at Mubarek to meet international quality requirements, Uzbekneftegaz said.
