Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 8 August, during the state visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kazakhstan, a memorandum was signed establishing the Uzbek-Kazakh Expert Council.
The document was signed between the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies (ISMI) under the President of Uzbekistan and the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KISI) under the President of Kazakhstan.
In the presence of the leaders of both countries, the document was signed by ISMI Director Eldor Aripov and KISI Head Erkin Tukymov.
The Council aims to formalize and enhance expert dialogue between the two countries by involving specialized experts to discuss new ideas and develop proposals for deepening comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Special attention will be given to analyzing the state and potential of the two countries in trade-economic, industrial-technological, and cultural-humanitarian fields.
