Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the decision of the Special Republican Commission on the preparation of the Program of measures to prevent the importation and spread of a new type of coronavirus in the Republic of Uzbekistan from 30 June 2020, Uzbek citizens coming from countries where the incidence of coronavirus infection has not decreased, and stateless persons with permanent residence in Uzbekistan can voluntarily go through the quarantine period at hotels at their own expense.

Currently, lists of hotels have been compiled that have created sufficient conditions for placing citizens on the basis of quarantine requirements and agreed to accept citizens for quarantine. The list consists of 13 hotels with 599 places with a price category of up to 300,000 soums per day, 54 hotels with 4,256 places with a price range of 301,000-500,000 soums per day and 35 hotels with 3,616 places with a price category of more than 501,000 soums per day.

Citizens arriving in the Republic of Uzbekistan on one flight will be placed in order in hotels in which sanitary and hygiene requirements are met and for their safety round-the-clock security will be organized by the National Guard.

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus among the population, an updated list of 9 hotels will be periodically announced (3 hotels for each price category). At the same time, hotels will be selected among those that offered the lowest prices.

The list will be updated when the number of places in the hotel is filled at the expense of quarantined citizens and registered bookings.
