Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- State tax authorities are studying the situation with developers who recently met with Tashkent khokim. During the meeting, it was stated that entrepreneurs lowered the cost of houses in the contracts of sale.

On 27 April 2019, a meeting was held in the Tashkent city administration on the case of the construction of multi-apartment residential buildings, designed as individual buildings. Khokim of the capital Jahongir Artykkhodjaev pointed to violations of tax legislation by developers.

Representatives of the city administration said that entrepreneurs lowered the cost of houses in sales contracts, worked without a cash register and company registration, illegally hired hundreds of workers, and also caught them in tax evasion.

During the meeting, it was noted that entrepreneurs, according to preliminary calculations, did not pay taxes for 22 billion soums.

State tax authorities are studying this situation. Results will be published and available to the general public.
