State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan: Cash inflow from the parking lots of Ferghana dekhkan market averages 1.5 million soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Recently, an article was published on the website of the National Information Agency (UzA) stating that cash from the parking lot near the dekhkan market of the city of Fergana remains unheeded by the controlling authorities.

On this occasion, the State Tax Committee reported that according to the decision of the Khokim of the city of Fergana dated May 12, 2017 No. 593, 12.9 land around the market located in the center of the city were attached to Markaziy dekhkon bozori to create parking lots.

This parking lot is divided into two parts, in each of them there are control cash registers, as well as control over cash flow. From their activities, an average of 1.5 million soums is added daily to the total income of the bazaar.

According to the decision of the khokim of Ferghana region of March 27, 2018 No. 148 to establish the minimum amount of one-time fees, rent and the cost of services provided by the administrations of markets and shopping complexes, 50% of these funds go to the local budget.

Of these car parks, revenues of 41.9 million were received in January 2019, and 39.2 million in February. Also, Ferghana City Tax Inspectorate held three timekeeping activities to ascertain the actual revenues from the parking activities.

During the events, it became clear that, compared to the same period of last year, revenues increased by 717.2 thousand soums, that is, by 239 thousand soums for one time event. Since the beginning of this year, during the control measures, three cases of illegally created parking lots were identified, and acts were drawn up against them.

The committee inform that the monitoring of cash receipts from the activities of parking lots will continue.
