State Tax Committee: Information on debtors on taxes and payments is open to all

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - A post of a certain Facebook user about allegedly closed access to the “state register of registered companies” has spread in social networks, the State Tax Committee said in a statement.

The Single State Register of Enterprises and Organizations, the EGRPO (as the registry is properly called) is the state information resource as part of the unified information system of state statistics, and you can get the necessary information on the official website of the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

After reviewing the comments related to this post, we found out that the user received answers to questions regarding the EGRPO from a person who, by virtue of his profession, often refers to this resource both on the website of the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and on the Single Portal interactive government services.

On the issue of non-disclosure of information on tax debts, which was touched upon in one of the comments, let us add that all users of Internet resources of tax authorities, and especially those who advocate for transparency, have long paid attention to the widely advertised portal “Public control in the tax sphere”, a beta version of which was launched at the beginning of the year.

So, on the portal, we strive, within the framework of the current legislation, to ensure maximum transparency of the activities of business entities, that is, we give information about what a particular company is. Information on debtors on taxes and payments is open to all; if you wish, you can calculate the tax debt of the subjects of interest.

Nevertheless, it should be noted that no one has canceled technical problems, but when finding the slightest technical failures, one should not make hasty conclusions that “the government misleads all of us and the world public by publishing an anti-corruption program.”
