Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Recently, the State Tax Committee has regularly received complaints and harsh objections from business entities in connection with an increase in the monthly payment for warranty service (the so-called subscription fee) of online cash registers (online cash register machines) and virtual cash registers from the beginning of 2021.

After analyzing the situation, the State Tax Committee reports the following.

Business entities can independently purchase, at will, any type of online cash register or virtual cash registers included in the state register, and register with the state tax authorities through any Center for the provision of technical services (TS) serving this device. Registers of devices and centers are available on the official website of the STC

The cost of services provided by TS to business entities is determined on the basis of a mutual agreement between the parties.

Centers for the provision of technical services - in contracts concluded with customers, it is recommended to clearly identify and specify what is included in the "warranty continuous maintenance of online cash register or virtual cash register" (subscription fee) and what includes "one-time paid services". These types of payments must be differentiated, double payment is unacceptable.

We would like to inform you that the State Tax Committee, in order to assist business entities, as well as to ensure healthy competition between TS, sent an official request to the Antimonopoly Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan to study the above situation and take appropriate measures.

Manufacturers (importers), as well as centers for the provision of technical services, should provide users of online cash register and virtual cash registers with stable and fair prices.
